Between competition and climate protection: International trade seeks new balance

At the an­nu­al lo­gis­tic con­fer­ence of the Kühne Foun­da­tion at the Kühne Lo­gis­tics Uni­ver­si­ty on April 26, 2022, Prof. Ralph Ossa spoke about in­ter­na­tion­al trade as part of the so­lu­tion in the fight against cli­mate change. He em­pha­sized that in­creased de­mand for en­vi­ron­men­tal­ly friend­ly prod­ucts and ser­vices would push trade to se­lect its part­ners in pro­duc­tion and trans­port ac­cord­ing to their life cy­cle as­sess­ment.

In ad­di­tion, oth­er key fac­tors for com­bat­ing cli­mate change were dis­cussed at the con­fer­ence.
